ITIL Practitioner Training Course
In accordance with the ITIL® practitioner course syllabus, this course provides a complete overview of the main concepts of ITIL Practitioner, including the CSI approach, metrics and measurements, communications and organisational change, in order to adopt, adapt and apply the concepts of ITIL beyond Foundation. It also prepares students for the ITIL Practitioner Course exam.
Who Should Attend Our ITIL Practitioner Training Course?
The course is aimed at IT service management people whose are, or will be, implementing or improving IT services and/or processes in an ITIL environment. Delegates are required to hold the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management obtained from an accredited training provider, or the v2 to v3 bridge equivalent.
ITIL Practitioner Course Objectives
- To provide an understanding of the ITIL Practitioner Guide publication and the concepts within.
- To give guidance on applying the CSI approach and associated principles, metrics, method of communication and organisational change to apply the ITIL concepts in a real-world situation.
- Prepares delegates for the ITIL practitioner examination.
ITIL Practitioner Course Structure
This is an instructor-led classroom (physical or virtual) based course that uses a combination of lectures, group discussions, assignments and sample exams to reinforce the key learning topics, and is based on AXELOS Best Practice Guidelines as documented in the ITIL Practitioner Guidance book (provided as part of a classroom course – also available for purchase separately).
The ITIL Lifecycle Professional Qualification
The format for the exam paper is 40 scenario-based multiple-choice questions. It is a supervised, open-book exam (using an unmarked copy of ITIL Practitioner Guidance only) – the duration of which is usually 105 minutes. Successful candidates will be awarded 3 credits towards the ITIL Expert qualification.
